Que-1 What do you understand by waste?
Ans-1 Anything that is rejected or discarded is called Waste or Garbage.

Que-2 What is biodegradable waste?
Ans-2 Some types of waste materials break down into smaller parts and get mixed up with the soil. Such water is called biodegradable waste.

Que-3 What is non biodegradable waste?
Ans-3 Solid waste like plastic bags and products, foil, glass, metals and electrical wastes do not mix with the soil and is called non biodegradable.

Que-4 In which way waste in harmful for our environment?
Ans-4 Non biodegradable waste is harmful for our environment.

Que-5 How can we manage waste?
Ans-5 We can take some steps to control the generation of waste Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Replace.
