A. Answer the following questions:-

Que-1 What is currecy?

Ans-1 A system of money is general use in a particular country is called currency.

Que-2 Who issues the notes in India?

Ans-2 The reserve bank of India has the sole authority  to issue notes in India.

Que-3 Describe the national emblem of India?

Ans-3 The national emblem is an adaptation of the lion capital, originally found a top the ashoka     column at sarnath , established in 250BC.

Que-4 Why do we need to travel?

Ans-4 We need to travel for search of job or study.

Que-5 What is Maharashtra known for?

Ans-5 Maharashtra is known for its cave,temples and sculpture.

Que-6 Which state is known as small hilly state?

Ans-6 Meghalaya state is known as small hilly state.

 

B. Write Yes or No against the following statement:-

D.Write two lines on each of the following states in India.

1. Jammu and Kashmir- It is Rightly described as ‘Heaven on the Earth’

2. Kerala- The southern most state of India is Kerala. It is a land of coconut trees, green fields and lagoons.

3.Rajasthan- in west India is called a 'Desert State' this state of palaces is famous for its havelies and forts.
