Ans.4 Each district is divided into sub division known as tehsils or taluquas. the head of a tehsil is called the tahsildar. The tahsildar is directly under the control of the district magistrate in is his duty to help the farmer in obtaining a copy of records of his land under his possession.

Ans.5 The main function of the district administration rs follow

1.     Maintains law and order in the district.

2.    Maintains land records and collects land revenue.

3.    Supervisors and monitors development works in the district.
